Ahmed Al Nabhani
Engineer, PAEW, DIAM Oman

Eng. Ahmed Al-Nabhani is working in leak detection field for more than 15 years with PAEW and DIAM in Oman.

He has long experience with the related activities of reducing technical losses & Non Revenue Water and also he has extensive working knowledge about correlators, ground microphone, flow meters, noise loggers, data loggers and other methods of leak detection.

Ahmed brings his working knowledge and real examples and experiences of leak detection and unaccounted for water to this event and an insight into the practices and results from Oman.

Mena Ghali
Managing Director, Kimans Inc, UAE

Mena Ghali has over a decade of experience in the fields of measurement and control instrumentation with specific interest and focus on ultrasonic technologies. Since 2006, he has held different leading roles across Kimans Inc. that include leading the operations team, managing the sales team in the Middle East, and finally as the Managing Director-Middle East and North Africa. 

His extensive knowledge in the field has allowed him to deliver measurement solutions across various sectors, such as oil & gas, power generation, HVAC, water and waste water industries. Mena holds a Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering from the American University in Cairo, he is also a certified professional engineer.

Jeremy Llewellyn
CEO, Blue Gold Technology FZC 

Jeremy is CEO of Blue Gold Technology a specialist provider of leak detection equipment and pipeline technologies for the GCC region. He has a BA from the Unversity of Glamorgan and is also a
Chartered Management Accountant.
Jeremy has worked in the field of water leak detection and pipeline monitoring for over 13 years.

Previously he was Financial Director of Halma Water Management comprising Palmer Environmental, Radcom and FCS in the USA. He was also Managing Director of Radio Tech a manufacturer of remote meter reading equipment and telemetry systems. He is also the founder and owner of Dynosonic Limited a UK manufacturer of remote meter reading GSM/GPRS technology. Dr Falah Mustafa
General Manager, Advanced Pipeline Services LLC

Dr. Falah Hasan Mustafa, The General Manager, has more than 40 years’ experience in managing major civil engineering projects and companies internationally. He is the founder of
ADPS in Abu Dhabi and has been managing the company since 2011. He has been involved in the registration of ADPS and getting the necessary approvals from all relevant Government Establishments such as Abu Dhabi Sewerage Services Company (ADSSC), Abu Dhabi
Municipality ADM),  Dubai Municipality (DM), RTA and Oil & Gas Companies.
 
He assumes overall management responsibility for the running of the business and projects together with well
experienced technical and engineering team.  The team has decades of experience in pipeline projects between them using trenchless technology in different parts of the world.

Lucas A. Grolimund
CEO, Gutermann AG 

Lucas Grolimund is the CEO of Gutermann AG based in Baar, Switzerland. Gutermann is the world leader in acoustic leak detection with the focus on permanent monitoring solutions. The fully correlating Zonescan solution is considered a ground-breaking application in this area and the pinnacle of nearly twenty years of engineering. With its sales offices on five continents, Gutermann has been serving most major water utilities worldwide for over 50 years.

Lucas has and extensive professional background in the as CEO, CFO and Director in various stock-listed tech companies in Cleantech, Engineering and Semiconductors. Before his executive appointments he spent several years in strategic consulting with McKinsey & Company. Lucas Grolimund holds a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from
the Swiss Federal institute of Technology ETH in Zurich, Switzerland, a Master in
Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, USA, and a Master in Business
Administration from INSEAD, France.

Mohammed Eid Ibrahim
Water O&M Division Manager, Al Ain Distribution Company

Eng. Mohammad Eid Ibrahim – Graduate Civil Engineer from Alexandria University, Egypt with more than 27 Years of extensive experience in Design, Construction, Supervision , Operation and
Maintenance of Major Infrastructure Projects in Egypt, Saudi Arabia
and United Arab Emirates.

 He is a certified Lead QHSE auditor and a certified Balanced Score Cards Professional. Eng Mohammed Obaid has participated in the development & implementation of many softwares used by ADWEA/AADC including : GIS, CMMMS, OMS, HOMIS, AQUIS, AMS & CRM and much more.

Currently, he is  holding the position of ‘Water O&M Division Manager’ at Al Ain Distribution Company for the last 13 Years. His key objective is to continue the transformation of the intermittent
water supply pattern to full pressurized , 24 hrs continuous supply while maintaining  economic leakage levels as par international best practices.

Chris Gaggo
President, Water Vision Technology

Christopher Gaggo is the co-founder and President at Water Vision Technology where he leads the innovative new company from its headquarters in San Diego, California. Chris is very hands on with each and every project and always looking for new ways to help save even more potable water from leaking into the ground. Chris helps water authorities all around the world to uncover potable water leaks by using a technology from space. Chris is an accomplished entrepreneur and enjoys cooking gourmet meals for the entire office in San Diego.

Dr Ala Eldin
Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority

Water Expert, Planner, Remote Sensing Scientist, GIS Specialist, Water Studies Researcher, Hydrogeologist and Geologist, with 25 years of experience. Dr Ala is Head of Research Section in Research & Studies Department, Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA), Sharjah, U.A.E.

Sharif Elnagar
Associate Director, Crowder Consulting UK 

Sharif is Associate Director of Crowder Consulting. Specialising in water network monitoring software, the Netbase software system is used by water companies around the world.

Sharif is a M Eng graduate of the University of Liverpool England and has been with Crowder Consulting for 19 years. He is an expert in water network modelling software and consulting for water companies.
Asam Al Mulla
Manager, Water Dept SEWA
Asam Al Mulla is currently the manager of the water department of Sharjah electricity and water authority. He has 19 years of experience in management of
engineering divisions specifically: water, energy, desalination plants, renewable
energy, integrated and hybrid systems.

He finished his BS in Chemical engineering from USA and his Master in Engineering Systems management from AUS in Sharjah. Currently he is finalizing his PHD in University of Sharjah in engineering management in the field of Sustainable water management for Sharjah Eng. Esam Al Mulla has published many conference and journal papers.
